   Would having a method, that connects to a URL and sends/returns data, cause any problems? Such as stopping the main thread?

   Jozeth Idk. Ik that sockets do. I would assume that it does. Try it out and put something in it that would lag.

   Yes. It should be done in another thread otherwise it would cause the main thread to wait for it to have completed.
