    Hello all.

I've been running a 1.0.0 vanilla server since it was released and now I've decided to switch to CraftBukkit. Although, for some odd reason, CraftBukkit disagrees with my current world and gives this error in the console:

Does anyone know the solution to fix this? We've done a lot of things to the world and we really don't want to reset it. Thanks.

EDIT: I've backed up and deleted the world just to see what would happen, and I get a similar error even when regenerating a new world.

Use Chunkster on your old world, this should fix it.

I've tried that, and I still get the same error. Thanks, though.

    Exactly the same?
    What build are you using?
What happens if you try it without any plugins?
Also, can I see a bit of Chunkster's stuff?

I have the same exact issue right now. However, I can't get chunkster to work. I try and run this command in console:
    Code:
    java /volume1/Minecraft/Chunkster.jar JRON
JRON being the world name, and I've tried different variations on that with and without the quotes etc., but it doesn't seem to matter, it looks like it's somehow replacing the period before the .jar with a slash, because this is what I get:
    Code:
Exception in thread "main" java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: /volume1/Minecraft/Chunkster/jar
    Caused by: java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: .volume1.Minecraft.Chunkster.jar
            at java.net.URLClassLoader$1.run(URLClassLoader.java:202)
            at java.security.AccessController.doPrivileged(Native Method)
            at java.net.URLClassLoader.findClass(URLClassLoader.java:190)
            at java.lang.ClassLoader.loadClass(ClassLoader.java:306)
            at sun.misc.Launcher$AppClassLoader.loadClass(Launcher.java:301)
            at java.lang.ClassLoader.loadClass(ClassLoader.java:247)
Could not find the main class: /volume1/Minecraft/Chunkster.jar. Program will exit.

I might be way off on that though. I'm a console newb, but I've had no problem getting minecraft and bukkit to run in the past. I never had to use Chunkster when I switched from a 1.6 world to bukkit.

AHH nevermind, it just clicked on what I was doing wrong. Running chunkster now, I'll let you guys know what my results are.

Works fine if I start a new world though :( But of course I've already had several people playing since 1.0 release, so I don't want to make everyone start over again.

I've seen some people also recommend running the world through MCEdit. What is exactly is meant by that? I see no "repair" option or anything like that. Do they mean just opening the world and saving it then reloading it? If so, I've already tried that as well.
