    it should indeed.
    unless you are sensitive to very white light. if the page would only be white, my eyes would hurt.

    'This Year' basically xD (We're half way through November now) - I may end up missing some of the new features out if I'm delayed, but the release will happen all the same.

    Also, if I added a white option - you'd get white text on semi-transparent white dialogs on a white background...

    Before 2012.

    What about it? McMyAdmin currently (unofficially) supports it as a way of running the Minecraft server.

    McMyAdmin 0.9x more or less is :p It just doesn't have the new UI that 2 will have.

    All current McMyAdmin users will get McMyAdmin 2 when it comes out.

    Please imagine following situation: I host a server at my place where half a dozend friends can join, and there are times where no one is on. So there are times when the server is just burning my money - and that's kind of a problem for me ;).

    That brings me to following question: Will it be possible to assign a secondary user (=non admin) the right to start the server when stopped, and not restart or stop it if anyone is on and playing? So people interested in playing can start the server and join, and maybe shut it down afterwars, without the risk someone trolls and shuts the fun down while others are still playing? If so consider me a future customer for McMyAdmin v2 ;)

    Yes - the new user management for the web panel is one of the new headline features. See the first post:

    (Wow, the idea of putting the server avaiability in the hands of my users to cut costs came to me by monday, and now there already two possible solutions at hand ... :p )

    @PhonicUK
    Well, that's awesome news :). I'll definetely keep this in mine, hehe. Love McMyAdmin ever since a friend of mine recommended this. I'm looking forward to see if any of this remaining "sharp edges" got removed [MultiWorld support & Backups, and PermissionsBukkit support, respectively) :)

    @Antariano
    Looks like a nifty solution aswell. I'll keep an eye on this and hope you'll have an open beta aswell anytime time soon. Nice idea of using this on top of a XAMP instance, btw.

    I personally am still waiting for a decent vanilla control panel, maybe I'm going to have to do what I originally planned and DIY, oh well so many choices and beta's to get into :)

    McMyAdmin works with vanilla, it doesn't need Bukkit :p Even the users and groups management works with vanilla to give commands to non-op users. When MCMA was first released about 13 months ago, there was no bukkit.

    If a web panel requires Bukkit and doesn't support vanilla - then the bigger hosting companies won't touch it. So I'm careful to make sure MCMA maintains its vanilla feature set.

    Thats my point. I wish there was a mode that makes me able to think there is nothing but a start, stop and console button. No user management etc

    Just don't use the features you don't need then? Having something that just did start/stop/restart/console would be pretty redundant for most people (heck TCAdmin can do that) without the extra features to go along with it.

    I haven't tried mcmyadmin, maybe I should :) Mossycobble gives us multicraft and the group features etc are so hardcoded it really annoys me, as it always tries to handle stuff, and I'm a perfectionist.

    McMyAdmin will if you ask it to, but it doesn't take control of anything by default.
