[WIP][Fun/Chat/RP] SmileyFace [Spout]

Overview:
This plugin will add faces to a player when the player uses a text-face in a chat message.


How it Works:
When a player joins for the first time, the player is set to the 'default' face skins. The player will be able to set their own skins if they wish by using a command.

<player1> wow D= no!​

^ It doesn't matter where the text face is in the message.​

^ After a player says a text face, the player's skin will change accordingly; after 10 seconds it returns to normal.​

Development:
1. Add command for players to add custom skins for each text face
2. Make each player supply a dir address where those skins are located instead of adding each one manually
3. Permissions & more.
4? Image generator script that adds faces onto player's skins? (Perhaps players don't need to do a thing and everything happens automatically?)

Requirements:
Spout Server, and Spoutcraft Client ✔

Installation:
Put the .jar into your plugins folder and run or reload the Bukkit server.

Change Log:
V1- +Recognize text faces in messages +Add 10 second delay, then reset skin +Add skins & text faces

Version 1 has been out for about a day, and just noticed some of the skins addresses aren't correct. Oops.

This is awesome, hope it get's submitted in submissions & released soon!

1. Is there a way to edit the face's, and use them?
2. Is there a way to add a special character in front for "woman faces"
--> = Male, or $ = Female face (example)

 

I am going to make a SERVER just to try this! Awesome Job!

 

Keep in mind that any changes to the text-face 'keywords' would give another thing you would need someone on your server to learn. I like it the way it is right now because people already type it in their posts naturally =/ <- example ^^"

I assume by woman faces you are refering to small differences such as makeup/lipstick?
As it says, I plan to add a feature where you can set your own skins for the text-faces. If a player chooses his/her face to be such a way, then they can do it themselves.
The defaults will remain close to how they are right now. (I may edit minor details to make the faces themselves better as time goes on).

Keep in mind, there is only so much you can do with a face of 8x8 pixels.

 

i wonder if there will be a way to make custom smileys in place of the default ones.
