Why Can't I Break Item Frames?

I can use the item in the frames, like rotate them, but I cannot break them. I can also place blocks over the frame.

Plugin list and please screenshot (if applicable) any WorldGuard regions nearby. (Use leather and right click the item frame)

It is happening to all of my items frames I am afraid. It is saying there is nothing there but I can interact with the object inside (able to turn it). Whenever I try to break it, it breaks the block behind it. It acts like there is no entity.

Try removing Essentials Protect.

 

I fixed it by removing all plugins and just placing blocks over the item frames. Although I still could not break them, after removing all plugins and placing a block over them it broke the frames! Thanks!
