Who is good with permissions on a tekkit server???

I have Tekkit 1.0.0 Beta installed on a server and everything is working great. http://technicpack.net/?page_id=290

Buts its my first server and I'm new to Tekkit. I need some help with permissions. Does anyone know if there is something already included for permissions already or do I need a plugin... if plugin what is recommended for Tekkit.

I mainly need to figure out how to make some groups... one for default players with limited commands and another groupd that is mainly restricted from TMI(/give) but still has most the commands like the set home and TP ones.

Any help would be Greatly appreciated... Thanks


PS... it is using commandbook... didn't know if it makes a difference or not

 

@Vicious00013 A tutorial can be found here: Permission tutorial, I recommend read the section on setting up PermissionsBukkit (unless you want to use a different plugin). To make editing the yml file easier and to avoid errors use Notepad++ when editing the yml files. Good luck with your server.

 

I could help with your Permissions file. I Used to run a server and have been looking for a tekkit server to play on. how many players are on your server and where is it hosted?

 

im using PermissionsEX and i think better will be if i paste my permissions.yml so you can just edit them to your needs

copy from window on the bottom and all you need to do is check your plugins nodes and add or remove them to the list and rename groups and nicknames to your needs

 

If you use PermissionsEx and enable modify world, you will need this setup on your permissions.yml.
