When bukkit with have 1.8 server?

did you update? don't you have a backup?
if the answers are yes and no... it is all YOUR own fault that you can't play... so go play outside with some other people in real live or learn the basics

BUT, a stable release that take a little longer is way better than a quick buggy release

I'm switching server host in a couple weeks, hope they can get it soon; I want to test everything on a locally hosted server before I upload it

I hope none of my plugins give much trouble, and will updated soon after the RB of bukkit

I agree with this. A lot of these stupid dip shits are nothing more than impatient children. Just the other day a kid was telling me: "Well other servers already have their schematics and plugins pasted/updated and ready to roll, unlike some retards".
A. We all know 1.8 server host (Bukkit version) is not up yet. A shit load of servers run off of this.
B. I wouldn't even dare risk uploading a pre-made map or plugins to the unstable/first-version of CraftBukkit for 1.8. Most people don't realize how big of an update this is....Which makes it all the more irritating.
C. Some of these people commenting on the posts are players not hosts... which is kinda stupid, considering they most likely know nothing about Bukkit or Java.
For everyone who is patiently waiting, thank you for your patience. @ CraftBukkit staff, keep up the good work.

The problem is that a lot of people are spoiled, and think that they're entitled to other people to do things for them for free. Patience is certainly a virtue around here.

English isn't everyone's native language, as shocking as that may seem...

Looking forward to it, but even if they got a 1.8 compatible build out NOW, that still doesn't mean all your plugins are going to magically work... you need to wait for those too. I'm looking forward to the weekend, maybe by then the majority of plugins will be updated. I can wait though.
