    Each Bukkit download at http://dl.bukkit.org appears to have a "nix box" download;
    "Running a server on a *nix box? This one's for you!"

    I'm running CentOS 5.4 (Lunix) which supports wget, but before I have always used the regular download and uploaded it into my server through FTP (Filezilla); where it worked fine.

    Are there any differences or advantages?

    Bump.
    Maybe I'm just totally confused and it's the same file just through wget. Any help?

    From what I read/understand its just a dedicated server running a Linux distro. Ex. Ubuntu, CentOS, Debian, etc.
