what did the bug in 617 do?

    my server keeps freezing my computer...I am running 617..Is that what is causing it or is it simply my computer cant handle what it could easily yesterday?

    Dude, just upgrade. Besides, people who knew about the bug aren't supposed to tell what it did.

    That's not what I am asking, I don't want to spend my time upgrading if my computer will still freeze all I want to know is when they say fix a "crash bug" does that mean that 617 freezes computer or just crashes minecraft
