Pyraetopedia allows you to look up anything you want from in Minecraft by connecting to Wikipedia.

Either of these searches Wikipedia for the thing specified and then returns the first paragraph of information.

• Improve efficiency by multithreading

• Fix disambiguation bug

Edit:
After trying it out for a while, it seems a bit incomplete.
Sometimes a search is made but nothing is returned at all, not even a "could not find", not avalible, or some other kind of error message.

I really like the concept, I think just some bugs need to be worked out.
(I'm using build 1337, I searched "what is dog" which did not return anything, "what is nickel", which returned the proper info, and "what is soda" which simply returned "Soda or SODA may refer to:"

Also, you should put a message or something on the onEnable() so people know its enabled, after a few tries didnt work I had to check to make sure the thing was actually enabled at all.

Yeah, typically those are the most general of things, or disambiguation pages, or proper/italicized names. I will surely be able to fix it tomorrow, this is fine for now though. I am also planning on removing citations.

The plugins author should be able to do this, both are using MediaWiki.

I think the plugin you showed me is inactiv (download link broken) and its not up to date (minecraft 1.8)

 

I'm managing to deal with most of these bugs, but I'm not ready to release the next version yet. Soon though

Can this be configured to pull from our own Mediawiki installations?

 

This has been upgraded to be reliable with more things, including italicized things such as Minecraft and things that don't require disambiguation, but are still broad, like Fruit and Soda.

Can you make it so that the we can also use other Wiki pages.
Perhaps with an configuration file.
