   Likely your enviroment variables are setup wrong, my personal experience is always remove any JRE before installing the same version JDK. Seems java loves to not setup variables right because it always sees them already set for the proper version already, it has the same problem when trying to install multiple JDK/JRE versions. if it already sees it, it dont change it. So I always install my 'major' version first, then others after and double check my ENV variables.
