Problem/Bug Villagers glitching out of holding cells

Hello there,

I have been building the iron titan on my SMP Server (CraftBukkit 1.8 R0.1 Build Tools 27). Only Plugin installed is CoreProtect. So I put 21 villagers into a 2x1 holding cell (see screenshot http://imgur.com/sPHXbmR )

When I logged in this morning half of them were all over the place, so I assume they glitched out. After some googling it seems to be an issue with server restarts and entity positions not being saved. So they build this exact same thing on the hermitcraft server, which means it has to do something with the jar file (since core protect probably doesnt affect villagers).

Any plugins / ideas on how to solve this?

I had a bunch of chickens escape from a pen when I upgraded to 1.8. I just killed them all.

Could you keep your villagers in a stone enclosure? I do that, but I haven't checked to see if they're still there.
