Hey Bukkit, So recently my community's been working on a new RP server. It's coming along great but I noticed one problem... when on a clear day in real life does the land just stop short in a square? I have my render distance on far and can see only a few hundred blocks ahead of me, and its annoying. I'd like to be able to see ships across a harbour, canyons below the mountains, etc. So then I started searching around for something that allowed my servers view-distance option to be higher than 15. I found this: "http://www.minecraftforum.net/topic/243461-v142-enhanced-view-distance-mod-updated-1025/" but it's updated for Beta 1.4. If anyone out there has a solution or is able to mod Bukkit to do this, please let me know. Thanks!
this will cause drastically more resource usage due to much more chunks and entities loaded. are you sure you want it?
I'm sure, because the world is small (since it's an RPG) and the server is powerful, so it should be fine.
