Filled Upgrades Gui

First of all, is it possible to give permissions to individual players, and not ranks? (I Reaaally hope so)

So what id like is this:
When you right click while holding this custom nether star
&1&l[&r&0&ki&r&eUpgrades&r&k&0x&r&1&l] <<<<< Name
&fPurchase Upgrades to help you Ingame! <<<<< Lore

When it is right clicked, a gui the 4 down and 9 across to appear, with certain items in it that act as buttons. When these buttons are clicked, it can add / remove permissions (defined) from the player who clicked it. Also, how would i implement SKILL POINTS
(so in my server there will be a lvl system where when you rank up 5 levels you are awarded a skill point to spend on an upgrade)

Is this possible?
If so, could someone please make a way for me to create a gui filled with buttons?

xXSilverswordXx Depends on permission plugin you are using, but I believe all major permission plugins have this feature.

 

im using essentials.(and groupmanager)

how would i give permissions to individuals?

Through /manuaddp <player> <permission>, as GroupManager wiki says...

would item buttons be able to execute this command as an admin in a custom gui interface?

 

xXSilverswordXx Yes, and I think there are few plugins which allow you to create custom GUIs. I don't know their names though.

 

im using customgui (its a plugin)

just need to know if you can run commands through item buttons
