Ever since https://dev.bukkit.org/bukkit-plugins was updated it has caused me nothing but problems. downloading the plugins has become harder to do.

with the old version I was able to right click the "Download Plugin" link and copy link and paste it into the Putty display and download the plugin to my Raspberry Pi remotely. Now I cannot do that.

@rcistano, I'll see if i can find the new link pattern for you.

EDIT: The links appear to be dynamic, but you can use this site to get a link to the actual file. http://redirectdetective.com

It won't download the newest version if it updates though.

  3. @rcistano So, I went to the latest file as the latest download button does. For WorldEdit that is https://dev.bukkit.org/projects/worldedit/files/956525/download that link goes to Curse for the actual file, now it is actually easy to get the Curse link from that! The site is addons.cursecdn.com/files/ and then you want the file id, split the id 3 chars in so 956/525 and then just add the file name so for WorldEdit it's worldedit-bukkit-6.1.5.jar an d that makes up this: http://addons.cursecdn.com/files/956/525/worldedit-bukkit-6.1.5.jar

Now there isn't really an easy way to get how the file is called without downloading it or knowing how that plugin names things but, this is how the link is constructed.

    Hope this helps.

I know that this is an older topic, but I'm trying to make my way through some of these, and responding is the best way to let you guys know that I've noted it (and keep track of it myself).

Really appreciate @bwfcwalshy! But as a server operator myself, I can understand how this makes things a little difficult. I don't know exactly what we can do at the moment, but I'm going to bring this up to the team. I'd love a much easier way for you guys to get files directly to a headless box.

    Thanks guys!
