   All of the commands (/exchange gold /exchange diamond /exchange log) are just saying unknown error, can anyone help and spot the problem?

   You are currently trying to use both the command name and a argument as a command. Commands are a single word so yours would be "exchange". You would then use the CommandExecutor to check the arguments to see if they match "gold", "diamond" or "log". See the plugin tutorial.
