make sure you download craftbukkit.jar and put in it the same folder as that run.bat file. you may also need to rename the bukkit file you download to craftbukkit.jar

Are you using Windows and do you have both the redistributable vcredist package and an updated version of Java?

Does it have to be that specific one because earlier i went searching for it and there was a newer version. Also that is x86 and i have a 64 bit operating system. Sorry i'm just not sure if it matters or not and i wouldn't want to do something wrong and have to fix it.

Oh I'm sorry, I gave you the wrong link! Yes 32/64bit matters and yes, latest version for sure.

    Real, real sorry.

Okay i installed the newest 64bit version and it still gave me the message. I restarted my computer as well. I also renamed the file to craftbukkit.jar like xzile said. Any other suggestions? Should i delete any previous versions i may have, because i checked and i do have previous versions of the redistributable vcredist package?

No, it should utilize the latest one. So what happens when you run the batch file now?

One more question. Should i use the latest bukkit build or the recommended one? Im not sure if this might be causing problems.

    It isn't.

    I'd recommend the recommended. xD

*Ultra facepalm* I didn't add .jar to the end. xD. That fixes everything.
