Plugin category: Miscellaneous, Website Administration, Developer tools, General. Suggested name: TwitchMaps What I want: A plugin that makes a Twitch broadcaster's stream displayed on a map so that it can be hung on an item frame. I've seen this done with an image and not being an actual live feed, I don't even know if this is possible but if it is and someone does it then that would be absolutely amazing! Ideas for commands: /tmaps create [URL OF STREAMER] Ideas for permissions: player.create.tmaps When I'd like it by: 5-20 days. (If possible.)
ewainer1 It is possible ( I think ) but it won't be very fast, limited framerate of 20 hz, could also cause client and server lag
I know I am asking if you can disable it with a command so is not visible anymore to that one player that ran the command.
It is the same thing for all players, you can't toggle it for each player, only for the entire server
timtower bobacadodl Quick question, how does one go about doing this? (Just wondering, I'm not filling the request I just have no idea)
Well, I havent done it myself. But I would look into the twitch API to get a twitch user's video stream. You would then have to split the video stream into frames at various intervals. You would then construct map packet (check wiki.vg) by converting a frame's pixels. Then send the map packet to a player.
