I don't know about you guys. But my server is still doing the same thing as the last bukkit build
basically, it keeps running out of memory, and its very annoying. I have looked over it for a while. and noticed a "pattern."
    1. The more players online, the faster my server runs out of memory. ex. i had 10-50 players online, for around 12 hours, and the server slowly ran out of memory, the /mem dropped from 95% memory left to 5% left over the period of 12 hours. After it gets super slow. the server will lag very bad, and sometimes crash, and not startup tell me or my admins start it up. When i restart, it happens again, and again... Now i had about 100-130 players on for around 2 hours, right after a server restart, and in that time the server ran out of memory, so after that i suspected, the more players on, the quicker its out of memory.

    2. When i do /mem, i sometimes spam it over and over. I noticed that the memory will sorta fluctuate. basically its at 95% mem left, then it slowly goes down to about say 70%-80% left then right back up to 95%, but after it does this for a while, it gets to 80% left and drops down to 65%-75% then back to 80%. Also with above, the more players, the quicker it will do this.

Here is all my server specs:
Plugins: http://gyazo.com/bbcc326b92248c515f7c6a77e8627da2 (i have removed, changed, update plugins to see if its the issue, but haven't had any luck.)

Startup command: java -Xmx12000M -Xms128M -jar craftbukkit.jar nogui (i use sh ./start.sh in a screen to start it, this is whats in the start.sh file)

    No control pannel

    Server specs:

    • Intel® Core™ i7-2600 Quad-Core
    • 32 GB DDR 3 RAM
    • 2 x 3 TB SATA 6 Gb/s HDD; 7200 rpm (Software-RAID 1
I will be changing server hosts to see if its the problem.

also note that i have tried spigot, it made the issue a bit better, but didn't fix.

minecrafterwork I steal plugins as my own

Malo I would recommend setting up automatic restarts every 6 hours to deal with the issue until Bukkit fix it

^^^ This is a good idea, get Multicraft that you can set automatic restarts every X hours

minecrafterwork Deonasoto now this brings in another problem. You might know that bukkit restarting/stopping server is buggy. My server, when i run the stop command with disable all the plugins as normal, but won't stop the server. I have to kill the process to fix it. I have McMyAdmin btw, and you can do the same, also you can set it so it restarts when there is a certain amount of ram in use, which i have set, but then the restarting issue happens, and requires an admin anyways. I am on the latest bukkit that came out a few days ago btw.

There is nothing buggy in Bukkit's stop method. Your admin panel is separate from Bukkit, please do not confuse the two. You also may be having a plugin lock up your server causing you to not be able to shut down normally.

Look into both updating/removing plugins, or contacting the makers of McMyAdmin for assistance with that control panel.

it does it without mcmyadmin even enabled, i have checked multiple times, every one of my plugins is updated.
    my plugin list: http://gyazo.com/58faba3bd67dbb73bb7ec7beca956bc1
what happens when i stop it is, i do the stop command, then in console it shows all plugins disabling, then people can talk on the server, but, they are all frozen, no plugins work. I then have to go kill the process with kill -9
i have also tried changing almost every one of my plugins, and disabling them to see if the issue continues, but it still does.

Updating may not fix the problem if the dev doesn't realize his plugin is broken. Start removing your plugins one by one until you find the offending one.

The only ones i have no changed were essentials, permissionsEX, multiverse, survival games, worldguard, worldedit (because these are essentials to running my server) and also because, i know many other servers use these plugins, so i thought that these shouldn't be causing it.
