    Good day,

I am currently developing a plugin that I call EssentialItems. Its kind of a knock-off of Essentials and EssentialsX, however, it is MUCH MUCH simpler.

To compile my plugin and package it into a JAR file, I would just simply use the "Export" function of my Eclipse Java Project. I would click "Export", then "JAR File" then I would select any other files I wanted inside of the JAR.

This has worked for a very long time, however, I want to appear more professional and possibly start using Maven. Is this the right thing to do? Do I really need it?
