Nope, nobody's doing anything odd or repetitive to the crashes, it just for no reason crashes.

 

Hi, can you help me? whenever a player that doesnt have all of the permissions, like a mod, elite, member or builder, tries to place a minecart, it simply does not work. I think it may be a permission, but im not sure. My plugins are: Cauth, CraftBook, Essentials, Groupmanager, Lightvote, Living Building, Log, Minecart mania, Minecart mania Autocart, Supply sign, and world edit. PLEASE HELP! Thanks

What CB are you using?
Does it occur without essentials?
Does it occur without any plugins?

Try disabling all plugins and add them one by one to see which one is the problem.

how do i edit the original ops permissions? i have a permission plugin(permissionsex) but i dont know how to edit the server's built in ops group.

 

im using the second latest one, before 1337

You can't.
You have to de-op the person, then add them to a custom group.

here's the problem, i deop them and add them to a group called members. but now they cant build and i dont know the permission for building other than modifyworld which is already added...

 

How can I update them on a vps? Linux 64

You need to add the permissions for each plugin you want to enable.

For example, if you have towny, you would give the admin group towny.wild.*

In that case, does restarting the virtual machine fix the issue?

That would be one of the last things I would try.

If restarting doesn't help, update the Virtual OS (or ask your host to update/re-install)

 

I always sudo-get update the OS when I install a fresh copy of it.

 

Hello. I want to let my users see the players with the highest amount of money. I have iConomy (newest) and Essentials - but when I type /money top, it only searches for a player named "top"
Whenever I type /balancetop, the whole server LAGGS for 10 seconds, then it shows the list. How can players use a command to view the players with most balance, or is there a fix to /balancetop?

 

Did you give users the proper permission node?

 

There is no permission for balancetop on iConomy (newest) if you look on their wiki. Also the users used to have the /balancetop command, but everytime someone used it, it lagged the server for 5-10 seconds... so I disabled it.

I installed the plugins SimpleRegionMarket and Factions on my server.
We built a town then which should be a safe zone so there is no griefing or anything, but I also want to sell building inside the town. If you buy a building inside the town and you want to place or break blocks you cannot, because of the safezone.
Is there any possibilty to make RegionMarket "stronger" than factions?

Download a new copy of Bukkit and restart.

I'm not that familiar with either of those plugins, but it would require custom code for your situation. You'd have to the devs at regionMarket to edit their code.
