I have an error with Minecraft. I checked the connection and it is working fine. I checked the console, and it is working fine. Plugins were checked and everything looks fine. However, when I login to the server, it stops on 'Downloading Terrain.' I know it is an error with Minecraft installed, but I still am trying to locate the problem. Does anyone know how to fix this, or is it one of those problems that stump everyone .

External server error. It is an error with how I have Minecraft installed

I might be able to fix it; I am just wondering if other people have the same issue.

What plugin: No plugins will install anymore. If I uninstall one I cant reinstall it.

hello there people I have just recently bought a server and it is running fine yet everytime I try to connect to it from my computer I get this error
CONSOLE:
string length longer than maximum allowed (7168 > 16) then it will just say lost connection?>

 

Hello. =) My friends and I have a server hosted by gameservers. We requested to be upgraded from 1.3 to 1.4.2 early November. After the upgrade we entered the nether and it reloaded (could see the lave flowing for the 1st time) Everything we created in there was gone.

When we first rented the server back in August we uploaded our map (micos) that was hosted on my machine locally to the gameservers server. It automatically created micos_nether and micos_the_end. (our group has never even entered the end yet, so no worries there)

I actually sent an email to support asking "how" to upgrade to 1.4.2 and they replied "you're all set" I did however ftp down the three map folders before sending the support ticket in. When I contacted them about the issue about the nether they told me it wasnt something they could help with and that I should restore it from the backup. I have had no luck doing this on my own.

I posted this question in its own thread but just noticed this group
and would appreciate any help (the above is some cut/paste so it might be choppy)

How do you order all the entities from largest to smallest data values and then shuffle them. How would I use the returned value to find the entity, and modify the entities speed to be double of what it was before by manipulating the runtime?
