Swords not doing damage..

What is up with this bug? I've tried all versions and latest versions of CB. I've tried updating all plugins and testing it without, I don't see why this bug is not fixed yet. You hit someone with a sword and they don't take any damage..anyone else experience this bug?

 

Make sure that PvP is enabled fr the server, and both of you are in survival mode. Also check your console to see if there are any errors given when you hit somebody with a sword.

 

No errors. PVP is definitely enabled, it happens on all 10 of my servers.

 

Are you using essentials, then make sure pvp is enabled in the config.

 

its enabled by default.

 

I know. I was just saying he could have forgot he enabled it.

 

It is, and some servers I don't even use essentials.

 

Do you use a server host? Or your own dedicated comp.? If you are using a server host, try running a server from your own comp. With no plugins/settings changed. If that works slowly add plugins 1 by 1 until you get an error. Once you have the error, try your server with just that plugin. If no errors occurs, add another plugin, so if the error happens, and if not, remove the second plugin and try a new one, until you get a match of which plugins conflict.
