Stuck as [default]

Hello, I use essentials group manager, and permissionsex. I have tried everything to figure out how to find a solution to this problem. I am stuck as [default] in a group. I added owner group. with prefix, and I moved my self there several times. please help?

Well something like this.. When I speak my name should be "<worldname>[OWNER]Ceelo10013" Instead it's "<worldname>[default]Ceelo10013". I have no idea why when I have put myself in owner group several times and added the owner prefix.

 

Minecrafter099 dont use 2 permission plugins at the same time. delete either PEX or Groupmanager. (i suggest using groupmanager and deleting PEX.

 

I tried deleting just pex.. it wouldn't make a difference.. So I deleted both.. maybe if i just add group manger again? Any chance that would work?

Also, there is another problem I realized.. the non ops, can't speak... That has never happened before.. This all happened when I deleted the prefix of [worldname] before my name..

Sorry, another post.. It now says I'm the owner, (THANKS ALOT), but it says it gray, when I made the prefix like this [Owner]

[FIXED].. Now two more problems.. 1. it says owner twice. 2. Non-Ops cannot speak. PLEASE HELP

if you add this to permissions ppl can build and talk
- modifyworld.*

if you want them only talk then;
- modifyworld.chat

for 2x owner do not edit your chatmanager config.

 

Heh, Thanks but a little, late.. I just editted the config and now the prefixes aren't showing at all. Anything you can do to help? Such as the original config? Thank you soo much!

 

paste your startup log so we can see what we are dealing with.

 

If you don't use permEx, you need to delete the modifyworld folder and .jar

In order to help us out with your startup log. Stop your server. Delete server.log. Start your server then stop your server. Open server.log. Copy the contents and go to pastebin.com, create a new paste and put the contents of the server.log there. Then please post a link here to that paste.

It looks like you have a copy of craftbukkit-1.5.2.jar in your plugins folder, you should remove that.

Hopefully necrodoom will see something in the startup log that will help fix your prefix issue.

If you are using essentials chat it may help if you pastebin your essentials config and permissions file.
