What i want: A plugin where, if a player dies he can not respawn until a set amount of time. Pretty simple as that. Commands: none Permissions: deathpenalty.bypass - user is exempt from penalties When i need it: This week or more
I don't think this is really possible to do, I don't believe we can stop their client from respawning them. We could however teleport them into a jail of some sort where they would be released at a set time.
Commander9292 Well it would be possible if you click "Respawn" after you die and then you can't press any buttons or move until a set amount of time.
PotatoTears Will the set amount of time be specified in the config? I'll start making this tomorrow morning.
baseman101 Yeah for example if you type 60 in the config and anybody dies, he cant press respawn for 60 secs (maybe add a timer above the "Respawn" button that says how much time is left before you can click it or something? ) And if possible, a deathpenalty.bypass feature to be exempt from the penalty.
PotatoTears Okay I'll post it as soon as possible. At the moment, I've run into a few bugs, so bear with me.
PotatoTears Sorry, I had things going on. I have finished the plugin as your request has said, but instead of the person not being able to click any buttons, it simply kicks them off and tells them the time remaining until they can log back in. https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/63673315/DeathPenalty.jar Here is some information you should know: permissions: deathpenalty.bypass - Allows the player to bypass the death penalty when true (default: false) config.yml: death.respawnTime - Sets the default time for respawning (default: 60 sec)
