Solved Strange Essentials MOTD Artifact... Come look.

Can anyone tell me what this is and/or how to get rid of it?



I use Essentials. When editing the motd.txt, this appeared one day. Remade the file and it went away once. But, after editing the file once more, it came back to stay.

May be text editor related, which one do you use?

 

For this one, I only use the original Notepad on XP. Havn't thought of trying ++. Think it'll help?

Just tried with Notepad++. Smaller file size somehow so I was hopeful but, still there.

Got it. Necrodoom, you were right. Pasted the text into OpenOffice and recreated the file. All gone. Thanks man!

By the way, I think OpenOffice worked because there are 2 options for saving .txts, just text or text unicode. I just did text.
