   I've been having a look around for nice methods of doing this and I would really love to store e.g. a chests inventory as one whole string. Can you serialize an entire inventory and De-serialize it back or is there another way to do this?
   
   (if this gets too complex I can just store the data in a fairly complex table structure but obviously one long string would be easier )
