Still a little confused about using Avaje for persistence

I don't understand how to store and retrieve more complex data types. I read the tutorial code, which got me started. Rather than list my numerous questions, I'm just going to post an example problem.

Say I want to store two maps, a list, and a set (just to cover everything), and then retrieve them as if the server has just restarted. How do I do this?
