I've been trying to learn Java, but every tutorial I look at is too hard to understand. As my main goal in learning Java is to come on here and make plugins for bukkit I thought that this would be the perfect place to ask how to get started. What did you use to start coding in java? By start I mean the very first start, not nessesarily just making plugins.
Sigong How I first started learning was to look at other project and try to understand the code. Then I would try to "Recreate" it or try to get one of the features working. I takes time to learn it and just be patient.
