Hey guys I got an issue. I'm taking my world from my Dedicated Server and moving it to a smaller vps (running a private server for a few friends on the VPS) and when I spawn I just keep falling. I transfered it in Binary mode instead of Text mode, and it started me at spawn but I lost my complete inventory. Whats the best way to transfer? ** I'm using Linux btw ** I used WinSCP
Well aparently it did. Slightly, Binary, I didn't fall forever, but still lost my ineventory. I'm copying the whole World folder btw.
"apparently did" i like that... but no really, it didn't since binary mode is the right mode to use for data.
It was weird cuz for some reason, Text made it fall, binary made it not fall, b ut no inventory. Sorry if i came off as rude
looks like a conincidence corrupted world would post something into the console falling is more likely that the connection is slow (or the server is), second run was faster dues to caches and stuff, maybe anyway test with recent version since there were some changes
