As I wrote on another thread, my server has 1 of its 8 cores with 95% load. But thats ok, even with that strange load, probably due to mobs, i dont experience much lag. But if anyone logs in, server freezes for 3 - 5 seconds, for all players. That usually happens only if server has something like more than 10 people already playing. After the player logs in, everything is ok, until a nwe player logs in, then new freeze again. It happens only on login and not on logout. Already disabled all my plugins (but not worldguard, or my world would burn), and same issue persists. Runing on centos x64 java 7 8x2.4 ghz 2gb ram + 2 swap and a kazilion of plugins, but thats not it. Do anyone experience similar problem?
I think chunk loading / unloading is handled by only 1 thread so it can't be spread among multiple cores. If the 1 core can't handle all the chunks loading it will probably lag the system.
I think that mobs doesnt help and it freeze for me around 1/2 second not 3 seconds because I removed mobs. Mobs are rlly bugged.
