SimpleRegionMarket has had a long history with the bukkit community and is the most widely used region market plugin for WorldGuard with nearly 140,000 downloads. We are looking to expand our development team and are in need of capable coders that can help take SRM to the next level.​

The core development team for SRM has been and continues to be extremely busy with real life responsibilities which is why we are now turning to the community for help.​

​

There are several standing issues with SRM that need to be fixed. This is by no means an all-inclusive or prioritized list of the issues, but just some of the important things that come to mind.​

1. Resource usage
   • Timings indicate an issue with a repeating task which in turn has an effect on the Scheduler
   • Some have reported lag caused when the region rollback task is underway.
2. SRM Signs being wiped/reset on server restart
3. Language files throwing YAML errors
4. Leased / Rented plots do not expire
5. The limits system should be converted to permissions
   • This would solve several open tickets, make for a much more versatile system, and be easier to understand for end users
6. Support and integration with shop system plugins
   • Automatically clear SignShop, ChestShop, ShowcaseStandalone shops on rent/lease expiration
7. Remove Register dependency
8. General code cleanup
