So every item that slows the player down has an lore containing "slow: (space) (a number)" ? And it is ok that the only effect is slowness?

No problem! OK, I figured out how to do it if it is anywhere in your inventory or hotbar , so I may resume making it.
I am definitely going to make the plugin. EDIT: Almost done, but just need to figure out how to do it on every item (right now it only works on chests )
