Server will not stop / Cant use commands

I am using BukkitGUI

When I hit stop, it says:

"[GUI] Stopping the server..."

and then doesn't ever actually stop unless I kill it.

When I hit restart, it says:

"[GUI] Restarting the server..."
"[GUI] Stopping the server..."

and also does nothing unless killed.

When I try and use commands as the console, it just makes a windows error noise.

And when I try and say things as the console, nothing happens.

Make sure the server mode is set correctly. Superstart > Server type
Experiment with these values, normally you'd need bukkit
