you need to port forward. i think. if you dont have to portforward, you have to go into server.properties, and delete your ip from the ip= if you want to keep that in, maybe restart your computer? -cray
just clear out the node "server-ip=". Minecraft will use any ip available so players can connect to it (if that node is empty)
What ip will it use? B.T.W. how do you update the build of bukkit?And when updating plugins do you need to delete config folders?
