My Server that I am running on my computer, specs below, keep getting the Server Overloaded message. and while running within the game I am getting an average of 60 fps with no problem moving around or anything. but whenever I go to build something or tp with the compass from essentials it takes about 20-30 seconds for it to reconize I've done something and make the update to the game. also when first starting the server, the chunks 1 around the one I am standing on take about 15 seconds to load with every other section only taking longer. My current specs: I am currently running a Craftbukkit server on my Mac Pro quad-core 2.93Ghz , 8 Gig of ram, and the server is on my OWC Mercury Pro 128Gig SSD. I am useing OSX 10.6.7 Snow leopard 64bit My java version is "1.6.0_24" What came standard with OSX with a hotspot 64bit server VM (19.1-b02-334) I am not useing any wrappers. I Have build 684 still running Minecraft 1.4 my Command code. cd /Volumes/Solid\ State/Bukkit\ Server/ java -Xincgc -Xmx5120M -Xms1024M -jar CraftBukkit.jar (Ive tried useing a bunch of different java settings like the server java, and GU settings but nothing helped.) I am currently useing these pluggins: Backup bukkitPiston citizens civilizedspawn essentials ichat iconomy lightsensor lytreehelper minecartmania permissions portecoulissante redstonemobspawn retractablebridge worldedit worldguard I only get the Warning server overloaded error every so often, no other severe errors or anything. I've tried without any plugins and the it didn't help. The only thing I can think of is that, I had Dynamap installed previously and all of this lag seems to have stared when I did the Fullrender option so I could see the entire map. I do not know if it has anyhting to do with it, but I have deleted the addon and the lag has not gone away.
You might want to consult the programmers for Dynmap. They might be able to help you out. Have you tried downloading Bukkit 684 again?
I've tried restarting my computer as well as re loading 684 and 677, neither worked. I've also tried starting it from all three of my harddrives
