Problem/Bug Server not port forwarded after forwarding

    So I am making a mini server for me and my friends to mess around and I set it up and I need to port forward it but I already tried and it doesn't work I tested if the port is open and it says is not maybe I did it wrong so some of you smart people can help me out

    @BlueDragonReal Did you fill in the IP field in the server.properties?

    I filled it with the External IP address and when I try to run it it says that "The port may be already in use by another server"

    It's empty how are my friends supposed to join? What Should I give them to join?

    Also the problem is not my friends connecting its that the Port doesn't want to get open

    You give them your external IP, you just don't fill it in.

    I just gave my friend my external IP 213.149.62.*** and he says it doesn't work

    Is it maybe because of my external IP changes? i don't pay for a DNS server for a static external IP but I have a static local IP

    Nope still the same

    You can just wait here till somebody comes along that does know it. I know the router that I use at home and my machines. But yours are different.
