    Hello,

I have just updated to the new craftbukkit 1.7.9 R0.2 and I'm having problems. The first is that I haven't started up the server since May or June, so my plugins all broke. I've gotten all of the new ones and MassiveCore and Factions never loaded, but I still have access. Then I thought I have to update Java for MCore, but the installation wizard failed, but got it to work after system restore and many, many programs. But now, whenever I got to the client version to join, it keeps saying pinging. With a non-existent IP (or not set-up, which I have tested), it instantly says no host., so something is there. I've restarted my computer, re-port forwarded, re-setup the firewall, and deletd all unnecceddary plugins. Please help and thank you in advance!

  2. With bukkit you need to be in the same version as the server. So are in 1.7.9? If no go to 1.7.9. If yes than try to use craftbukkit 1.7.10 and go to Mc 1.7.10

I've tried both and neither work.

  4. The ipv4 address (the ip you need in the server properties, and for portforwarding) changes. Go to the hosting pc and open the code, type in ipconfig and scroll up and the ipv4 is the ip you need to portforward and in the server.properties. Than go to a website like ipchicken and copy the ip. Than you join with the ip + the port you portforwarded (the port is given in the server.properties).

I have already double-checked the external and internal IPv4, what the problem is that whenever the IP address is added, it keeps saying Pinging..., unlike an invalid IP address, which wouldn't resolve the hostname (obviously). On a port checking website (forgot which one), the port (25565) was "filtered", meaning firewall-controlled. I went to firewall settings and enabled it. It's not a plugin problem, but maybe a java problem, as the vanilla serverbooted, but never loaded anything (blank log).
