Hello, I am thinking about switching my server to another host, my host's website has been down for a week and I am having troubles contacting them.

So I am trying to decided the best way to setup the new server's hard drives for the best performance. It's going to be running Centos 6.3 on a Xeon E3-1230 and so far I have this.

    Everything on a 1 TB 7200rpm HDD (/root, /swap, /home).
Then Craftbukkit on a 64GB SSD mounted at /craftbukkit.

Would this be a good setup? or is there something better?
    Thanks.

around 12-15 mbps but my question is, what would be the best setup for the hard drives on the new server?

Nice :D I think the setup is fine, I don't see why it should lag or be slow etc :)

how much ram do you have?

I'd recommend just treating the drives as two independent drives.

You use the larger, non-ssd as your system drive, and the ssd as your minecraft drive.

It has 16 GB and I think I will do it that way, Thanks!
