Hello! Last night we explored eachother's trapped secret bases, and came up with an idea to easily protect against building/mining the area. It would be great, if just simply placing a block we could protect our area against build and mining, but keeping the opportunity to use special signs like in craftbook bridges, and secret switches, able to use doors, chests, and other useable items but cannot modify the layout. So if you get a previously unused block, which cannot be get easily, like lapis lazury, or clay, and place it, it prevents all building and mining in 8 or parameterable radius cube. It would be better, if it protects only in powered state, the owner knowing only how to switch it off. Maybe it could be a Craftbook IC? Then I request a connection between Craftbook IC, and Essentials economy - you would be able to set every IC table placement cost you money... So what do you think about it? First thought: your server would lag like unholy hell with such a plugin. Every time someone destroyed a block, the server would have to search in a radius 8 cube to see if it contains the defender block. (8*2+1)^3 = 4913 blocks. Modern computers are fast and all, but that's... a bit much.
Yes, that's probable. No workaround, if it worx like Cuboid, or some protection plugin, but instead hitting corners with the wooden axe, the selection like this above?
