    Taking Shades' Towny a step farther.

    A versatile, player-controlled land management plugin for use with Bukkit/Tekkit/Spigot/Libigot, offering solutions for pvp, griefing, chat, inflated economies and monsters.

    Features (open)

    Towny includes a wide variety of features to offer instant enhancements to your traditional Minecraft server.
    • Allows players to own and manage land based on a pre-set grid layout.
      • Players join towns and purchase plots of land.
      • Players decide who can build, destroy, use "switchs" and use items on every plot they control.
      • Towns can join together into nations, further structuring a server into teams.
      • Towns grant protection from monsters, pvp, fire, explosions and greifing.

      • Area between towns is wilderness, with its own build permissions.

    I updated and now people's names are missing. That old problem is fixed but the names are gone. It just says the name prefixes (ie. [ADMIN], [MOD], [VIP])

    awesome plugin u made man.
    i have a problem only.
    can i disable wilderness cuz its blocking my LWC locker plugin.
    i only want to make a VILLAGE a town and not ONE house.
    sorry for the caps but some idiots never understand it(idk if ur one of them).
    please help.

    hi, i got a user, with _ underscore in his pseudo, and i can't invite him in a town !
    It return "None of those name were valid"

    Alot of my players are having trouble with underscores. Today and Yesterday my players were trying to create a town and (then today it was a nation), called The_League_of_Dastardly_Narnians. Upon creation of a nation or town with this name it give the player an 'Internal Error' message in red text. I made a town called Vallor_City and had no errors. Also I had reports by the same players that the town was made and they deposited money and it gave an error and disappeared.

    Im using CB 1000 and the latest version of towny which at the time of this post is 0.74.0

    in game i recieve a "An internal error occured while attempting to perform this command" message. Any tips?

    You need towny.top in your permission nodes. Some admins with old iConomy databases (who upgraded waaay back in the day and had some corruption in their database) or admins with HUGE databases were having major issues including crashing their servers. Since any player could use the command a permission node was added.

    I get ''An internal error has occured while trying to preform this command.'' whenever i try to use most town commands. Money deposit and withdraw works fine however.

    I just ported my server over to a new host. I created a backup of towny on the old server prior to the move, and unzipped it into the proper folder on the new server. When I reloaded and logged in, all the towns existed on the new server. When I enter them, I get the proper message on the screen and when I leave I get the proper message telling me I am in the wild. Whenever I try to do any town commands at all, however, I get an "internal error" message. Did I miss something in the move? Thanks.

    After a reboot we seem to be losing towns again. Is this a common occurance in Towny? We had the issue in the fuzze version, but were told this one will be ok.

    Trying to use a backup but the plugin doesn´t even load - looks like we will have to wipe everything and start again - 2nd time in a week.

    Can you please make so that when a player pays for a command or for taxes, the money is credited to a given account, so that the total amount of money in the game stays unchanged.

    Show me your permissions file.

    Homeblocks are the blocks that contains the spawnpoint of a town. There is no way to leave a space between properties, except by leave a townblock in between properties.

    Your config.yml is messed up. Rename your current one to oldconfig.yml and restart towny, you'll get a new config.yml and configure it.

    Sounds like you need to give permission nodes.

    Towns get deleted by upkeep and having zero money in their town/nation-banks. Join the IRC and I'll help you fix your data.

    Money from taxes goes to the town bank or nation bank. Only when purchasing a town/nation or when paying upkeep does money disappear.

    I know about taxes LlmDl, the town was an admin town, like $100m in the bank. I will pop on irc next time I have the issue. Multiplay have FTP issues so I can´t even use the backup atm.

    /town spawn working for admins (ops) not for players. They have town.spawntp permissions, money charges and message is sent, but no spawn :(

    Any ideas what could that be ?
