    Taking Shades' Towny a step farther.

    A versatile, player-controlled land management plugin for use with Bukkit/Tekkit/Spigot/Libigot, offering solutions for pvp, griefing, chat, inflated economies and monsters.

    Features (open)

    Towny includes a wide variety of features to offer instant enhancements to your traditional Minecraft server.
    • Allows players to own and manage land based on a pre-set grid layout.
      • Players join towns and purchase plots of land.
      • Players decide who can build, destroy, use "switchs" and use items on every plot they control.
      • Towns can join together into nations, further structuring a server into teams.
      • Towns grant protection from monsters, pvp, fire, explosions and greifing.
    • Wilderness Rules (Optional)
      • Area between towns is wilderness, with its own build permissions.
      • Limit players' interaction with the wild to just harvest-able blocks, keeping the wild pristine.
      • Roll-back tnt, creeper, wither explosions, dragon damage and endermen block-moving.
      • Block explosions and fire.
    • PVP Enhancements
      • Server with a strong PVP aspect will find Towny's grouping of players to be invaluable.

    DUDE! I already replied to you on the last page. this is your third time spamming this thread. shut up.

    yes it does. It's designed to be that way, so you know where you are. you can disable it in the config, but it disables ALL of these messages, that includes the ones when you enter a new town.

    I mean nether portals. Any idea?

    Upgraded to 0.74, now only the admins name shows, everyone elses name shows as <>

    e.g.

    cropperesp: hey guys
    <> sup
    <> hi
    <> hey
    <> why arent our names showing?

    I disabled modify chat name to false, but the issue still persists. Reverted back to the old version now. Many thanks.

    Changed that and set the permission nodes error still occurs

    I have the above error too, members have the towny.spawntp permissions and permissions is true?

    This becomes a problem with Chat because it ends up doing this:

    Mayor iO2: Hi.
    Mayor Mayor iO2: Hi again!
    Mayor Mayor Mayor iO2: Whoa wtf.
    
    The reason I asked earlier if I could control the above parameters in HeroChat is because I have custom settings for each world. So I attempted to modify what is in Towny and then follow it up with the {modplayername} field, but it ends up growing the {townynameprefix} and {townynamepostfix} field.

    You took {playername} out of the modify chat: line in the config.

    I didn´t take out anything :/ It was a straight upgrade. Will check for this though in the config, cheers.

    You did delete your old .yml files when you upgraded?

    Yes, taxes on resident go to the townbank. Nation tax on towns goes to the nationbank. Upkeep disappears into thin air.

    There is no /resident money command. You can use /resident {playername} to look up a persons money.

    i say it would be nice because players are able to use it to get around the mute command and we have no use for it.

    It pulls money from iConomy 5.01

    Yes, to turn off towny in a world go there and type /tw toggle usingtowny

    I see some other people are having this issue and your link in the updated first post for the HeroChat information is broken.

    If I set {modplayername} it just starts duplicating all my prefixes. ~Lord sct, ~Lord lord sct, ~lord lord lord sct every time I type. If I try doing just {playername} it's not getting player colors from the supernatural mod. If I add in {permsprefix} or anything else it also duplicates hero chats settings.

    So if I have {townyprefix} (or w/e it was called) in the towny config to show ~Lord sct AND I have {permsprefix} it just duplicates everything as well. I am so confused. :confused: Can there be an option to disable it all together like in the previous version?

    I have the same problem. Now I left it as {modplayername} and now whenever I've been sending messages for a while, it starts doing this:

    Added a config setting to disable all chat modification in Dev.

    Thanks! I do like the option to show mayor status, so if the problem is fixed on your end or if the solution is known for us to fix it ourselves, that would be great. Appreciate the fast response.

    It would be great to have a tool that's assigned to tell you which plot you are in (coordinates etc) when you click it on something.

    Hey guys, I'm on the previous version of towny and I want to update. I tried doing it once but it destroyed everything :/

    What do I have to do to update this as seamlessly as possible?

    Also, once I installed Towny my [Admin] tag doubled. It's really annoying
