    Can I just suggest another thing as well?
    Can the set ownership land be 8x8x8?
    Its kinda annoying setting that much land and letting a whole vertical area be given to one player.

    I just now updated from a older version and now whenever I try to safe or warclaim, I get the error Strange Argument, /f safe 1
    How do I fix this? I am really confused. Also do you need a jib file like before? I didn't see one to download so I didn't.

    Like can I invite a player to a faction other than my own?

    Is there a way to disable (or limit) messages from the plugin, like disable the "___ tried to hit you". it can get a bit annoying and spammy. A way to disable such messages without disabling territory info and claim notification & such would be awesome!

    Is this version compatible with Minecraft 1.0.0 (new release) and CraftBukkit > 1464 (for Minecraft 1.0.0) ??
    (So can I ugrade my server to CraftBukkit 1464 without any problem with this plugin ?)

    Massive, could Factions ever be updated so there could be a period of time set, where TNT does destroy blocks in your faction?

    For instance, something set so that TNT does not destroy in your terriritory. Though during a 'war' (preset time) Factions bases can be destroyed with TNT.

    This would encourage teamwork to defend your base, or to attack other's bases.

    Would also be nice if there was an opt-out feature (kind of like Towny) so people can pay to not be a part of the preset-war-time.

    I love Factions, but currently if people hide in their bases, there's no way to kill them to get their power down.

    Can you add a feature for multiple dmins? my friend and i are having a debate over who should be admin, as we both came up with the idea for the faction, but i'm defending my current role as admin because i dont want to lose it. if we could have a couple (Doesnt have to be unlimited) then this wouldnt be a problem.

    Feature Request: Limite the max players in a faction. right now more than half the players that play are in one faction and its ruining the game for everyone else =/

    As per the release notes, it's /f claim safezone and /f claim warzone now. What do you mean by a "jib file"? Factions has never required anything I can think of which "jib file" might describe.

    I don't understand your question. Are you asking about permissions or something?

    Inviting players to factions other than your own isn't possible at the moment. There are various other admin-level commands and permissions for managing other factions, though. Feel free to read the user guide (it's a bit outdated at the moment in regards to commands, but still relevant).

    Factions should automatically download it when you start up the server. What does Factions indicate in the server console/log?

    The only time that message currently shows up is if the person is trying to hurt you in your own territory without their faction being at war with you. They get spammed with a message also telling them why they can't hurt you. Simple solution for you if somebody keeps doing that to annoy you? You can hurt them, they can't hurt you... so hit them back. They'll get the message and stop trying to attack you, or they'll die.

    Possibly at some point.

    Not currently planned, as it would raise a variety of problems.

    Could you add a config option for safezones so that people inside a safe zone cannot damage mobs? Or make it so if they leave a safezone and return, they aren't protected anymore until they die and respawn there again?

    I'm worried about a problem where people just lure mobs into safezones and just kill the mob there, basically farming drops safely. Or just turn mob protection off?

    yes i realize that. what i was suggesting was a feature request i would like added =P

    Starting out when my server was small i didnt mind having to delete the inactive factions. but now i have full server every now and then throughout the day. people come and go. trying to figure out what factions were created, claimed some land, and then left to never be returned to again is just not very easy. Having an automatic system to automatically disband a faction that doesnt have anyone log on for more than a desired amount of days just seems completely logical to me.

    Having to remember which faction i have or havent seen for a while based on looking at their names in the faction list or the faction.json is just unreliable as ive ALREADY accidentally disbanded someones faction thinking they were inactive because they never talk in chat so i never notice them. luckily no one found their base while it was unclaimed.

    I just think the feature would be relatively easy to implement.

    Hi there! My first post it this thread. Great plugin, much better than Towny! (Moved to Factions from towny at 1.0.0)
    Anyways, for some reason I just cant get iConomy to work. set /f config econEnabled true; downloaded Register, updated iconomy 5 to icinomy 6... Still no results. People can easily create guilds without paying a cent Boooo!
    Also... I guess making different size of 1 claimable chunk would be great (not 16*16 but 8*8 for example)

    I have tried everything to get this to work on the newest craftbukkit (1493), but it's not working!
    And I also tried the register.jar you linked in an earlier post, but I keep getting this error:

    I second all of this. Same error using b1490 and 1491. I tested it on 1490 with economy turned off and it seemed to work fine. It's after I turned on economy and put it on my live server that it started doing this :(.

    Faction banks seems to work with bukkit build #1493 and iConomy 5.01, at least I can deposit and withdraw money from my own faction, havent had yet chance to test how payments works with other faction/players.

    I just searched for the faction (CTRL+F) in factions.json in plugins folder, added his name under 'invites' and reloaded factions. Worked like a charm! Thanks though!

    they do work

    however the costs aren't incurring

    People can claim away even though I set an iconomy cost, and I've enabled the economy hook in the json (via true setting). Not sure why.

    @Brettflan - Do you know if there is something easy to fix that I'm missing.

    i was trying to add permissions to my server and i havn't had any issues besides with factions so i was wondering if i had maybe the wrong thing or whatever i used : factions.kit.fullplayer and that didn't let people use /f home and /f create and all the faction commands i am running 1337 factions so is bukkit also i have PEX thanks for the help.

    I was not just talking about the "___ tried to hurt you" message, i just don't like plugins that spam the users with all kinds of different messages much. And it is a pain when you are chatting with somebody and someone tries to attack you. Im just saying that an option to disable some of them would be nice.

    ok i would like to know more about faction balance and if there is one also i think that u need to add a part where any enemies or neturals are killed in ur land by people in ur faction they are sent to your faction jail which admins can set. then the only way to get them back is for the admin to realease them or for the person jailed faction to come and claim the jail. within this u should add a configurable for if they are automatically realeased after a certain time or if they stay in jail to what i mentioned earlier happens. One more thing you should do is somehow add a jail break i guess the faction claiming the jail would make up for it but what if the jail has a few different faction players in it. you should also allow them to trade the people in jail to other allies or enemies. I think that this would make this plugin TONS BETTER, also for the balance thing i think that the admin should choose who and who cant withdraw but they all should b able to deposit.

    oh i forgot to mention that i have a PVP arena plugin and with factions and PVP arena witch i assume is on many servers you cant fight people within your own faction i am will contact the PVP arena guy too so he can maybe change it but i would like a soulition

    You can just make a world just for PVP arena, and then do "/f config worldsIgnorePVP pvparenaworld".
    Then people should be able to kill anyone, even their faction members.

    I would suggest also using "/f config worldsNoPowerLoss pvparenaworld".

    First of all, excellent plugin! ^^

    Second, I have a server with PvP off and Factions, we use them mainly for the teamwork gameplay, but some people have wanted to fight with other factions, anyways, my question is, is there a way to make only certain factions enter into active PvP to battle each other without enabling PvP on/preventing other factions being targeted like enemy for other groups by default? I know there is a setting to label factions as peaceful, but it's kinda hard since new factions are created constantly. Maybe with Permissions...
