PvPAnnouncer - Know when people kill each other.:

This plugin will broadcast a message to everyone on the server whenever a player kills another in this format:
[playername] killed [playername].

I made this plugin because right now there is no way to know whenever some get's killed and it can get hard to find out when people did it. I couldn't find I a plugin that simply does this so I thought would make it myself.

Features:

• Broadcast a message whenever a player kills another.
• Make killers admit when they kill someone.
• Autokick after 3 kills in a customizable timeperiod,
• Killstreaks which are announced every 5 kills.
• Turn certain features on/off in the config file.
• Reload and change options with commands.
• Permissions support.

Commands:

• /pvpa reload - reload config file.
• /pvpa version - Show version.
• /pvpa kicktime [seconds] - change kicktime
• /pvpa honestkiller [true/false] Turn honestkiller mode on/off

• pvpa.kill.hide - Dont show kills in chat.
• pvpa.kill.streak - Announce killstreaks
• pvpa.kill.avoidkick - Dont get kicked for killing too fast
• pvpa.admin.kicktime - change the minimum time to get 3 kills
• pvpa.admin.honestkiller - toggle Honest-Killer-Mode
• pvpa.admin.reload - reload the config file
• pvpa.admin.version - check the current version of PvPAnouncer

Download current verion: PvPAnnouncer.jar


How to Install:

Just put the PvPannouncer.jar into your plugin folder and you are done.
All you have to do now is load the plugin (simply by restarting the server).


To-Do:

• Show the weapon used?
• Also show deaths by Mobs?
• Log into a log file?
• Customizable message?

ever heard of heroic death ? I swear there are a million plugins that do this but you were too lazy to look for them.

COngrats on new plugin, however i swear all i see are people trying t get the developer tag. Sorry but heroic death for me.

 

I honestly didn't know there was a plugin for that. I typed in pvp in the searchbar and it didn't come up with anything that would show when people are killed. If I had known there was a plugin already I wouldn't have posted. I apologize. I was just happy and excited to finally make a plugin and have this kind of plugin so I thought I would share. I honetly didn't even think about the developer tag.

 

Typing in pvp would have resulted in wrong results, next time search death.

I get this when any non-admin tries to /pvp on or /pvp off

 

Lol, That has nothing to do with my plugin? The error is caused by the plugin PvPplus so I don't know why you are blaming it on me. haha

 

Heroic Death doesn't have killstreaks AFAIK. Give him a break guys

Please add a feature to be able to jail people with the plugin Jail if they kill someone.

 

hey man for a first plugin its not bad at all, hell those guys are just being asses, great job, here are a few suggestions to add to your plugin(sorry if these are already there im just putting what comes to mind):

• ability to challenge people(instead of just right out fighting)
• customizable rewards table for killstreaks (kinda like MobArena you make it to say, 10 kills in a row you get a diamond or something)
• wow already out of ideas lol,(i will post or edit more into my post)

Is this your first plugin? PHAHAAH YOUR SUCH A nice guy... Actually i am really by that being your first plugin. I am not even starting on making one cause i think its to complicated so a ++from me. I am going to use this one.
Add rewards when killstreak.
Add weapon used upgrade when reach 5 killstreak fist is no weapon
Add add a fun thing. Like a message or just a little text that says a random reason. Like he sleot with his mom. Xd

U guys please tell me exactly what the honest-killer function does and by the way Xox this is awesome plugin

 

Hav it make a folder list, of player who are in pvp, and killed by whom. have it make a list of players killed. That way the server owner can know who killed whom, and maybe also where..... like a region define. (coordiantes)
