   working on a tiny plugin that requires me to get a users current team via - scoreboard.getPlayerTeam()
   I see the deprecation warning in docs and am wondering what if anything will this be replaced with, and about when will it be removed from the api?

   The bukkit API never removes methods. You can still use it.
