    Hi
    another question by the way:
Im running my server on a vserver with centOS. I´m starting it in a screen sesion and when I a come back a day later and type "screen -r" I can see the server shell. But when I type "save-all" or "stop" nothing happens ...
    Whats the problem?

You'll need to stop minecraft while you're playing minecraft (chat command "/stop"), then kill every screen process manually. I've only encountered this once before myself, and it seemed to be an issue with multiple screens being opened to do one thing. I never found the exact cause, but stopping the server, killing all screen processes, and then starting the server back up manually ended up alleviating the problem.

Also, make sure you're not setting cron to stop and start the server in the exact same minute. That is something I changed away from myself when I had that happen, and it hasn't happened since.

Emm, don't you have a version of craftbukkit where you have to write #stop-all?
