    Sorry to bother you, but when you say "update," do you mean for that particular feature or a full update to 1.2.3? I love what you're doing, and as of now only some of the features work.

    it will be a big update containing a lot of bug fixes, stuff for 1.2.3, possible modules like: death chests, battle music, NPC questers(just simple quests for now), some more custom items and maybe custom mobs

    can I make a suggestion? You could make custom shops like Blacksmith or Tailor that only sell ingots or clothing, which is another idea. Here's all the custom shops I though might be cool, jeweler, blacksmith,tailor,monster-hunter,alchemist,mage that can enchant stuff for money ( andmaybe add a magic system?), Weapons Dealer, thief (maybe add an ability to pickpocket where u can look in other people inv. but might get caught), Workershop(building stuff), technician (redstone), Baker/vendor. Also maybe you could make it so you could make jewelry with gems and possibly be able to get awesome enchantments for them? Hope you like my idea's.

    If you could implement a simple class system and/or "skills," that would be amazing. Some plugins can do this, but with Spout, I can't even begin to think of what you could do. Perhaps a skill hotbar? ^_^

    More weapon types would be awesome as well. Not just materials, but spears, battleaxes, and maces; each with their own pros and cons.

    Just a few suggestions. ;)

    1.2 dev version is released ! :D

    change log:
    • fixed entity attack check for getting of exp
    • Added anti loop system
    • Added battle music(still a bit buggy)
    • Added block checks for fire making
    • Fixed modules not working
    • Fixed worldguard required to gain attack/defense/ranged/woodcutting exp
    • Added NPC questers
    • Added death chests
    • Fixed NPCs getting attacked by mobs
    • Added custom blocks/items/tools/food to store
    • Added configurations for custom items in store.yml
    • Supports minecraft 1.2.3
    • Store background is now editable

    I've set texturepack in modules.yml to false and it's still forcing it on...

    Nothing seems to be changed with the update... using dev version and still no features work.

    It works for me, are you sure you switched back to your normal texturepack?

    are you sure you are using the right version, there are a lot of changes...

    Please tell me what happens(note that this is a dev version and not everything works perfectly)

    Downloaded that. Same issue:
    - Custom blocks (banks, ores, etc.) turn to glass or stone when placed.
    - Custom items are merely asthetic, no increase of damage, block breaking time, and no blocking.
    - Money screen won't open.
    - No combat exp addition.
    In other words, it would seem nothing changed since the other version. Sure the right file was uploaded?

    OK i've only briefly tried this but this is amazing! finally some extra stuff to play with. question though, what is special about the new equipment and additionally, i'm not sure how exp is rewarded for mining. Combat seems to reward me every time but mining is very very rare to give me exp. Is this intentional?

    You don't get any extra's yet, I will add that in 1.3 (this one won't take that long:p)

    yes, you only get exp if you are in survival mode (editable in the config)

    Nice, I just found a solution for the custom furnace recipes :D

    With this work around you can smelt your ores/other things, one thing to note though, you can only smelt 1 item until you take it out of the furnace.

    Want to see it? I will change the dev version.

    I have some questions.. =/
    Is it possible to change the money drop amount from mobs? Would be great! And if yes, I couldn't find it anywhere.. =/
    And my second question. On our server we really would like to change the world generator with Terrain Control. Is it possible to use the custom ores in it somehow?
    And the last question. I know, it sounds kind of stupid, but how do I craft and/or cheat the anvil and the other things?

    Even with the latest dev version of Spout (987), all custom blocks still revert to glass or stone.

    That's a spout bug and the spout devs need to fix that

    With everything left at the default settings, none of the custom blocks are rendering in game, all the ores are taking the image of stone, the register, safe, and what not appear as Glass,

    though in creative mode, the items appear correctly in the list.

    lol I already know, I was waiting for the questing system in the 1.1 version so I think I 'll have to upgrade my server... Why don't you guys implement this with spoumaterials? in order to add damage scores to your new weapons (sorry for my english I'm italian)
