    bug report when u use worldguard to protect a area and u dont have the permissions to mine there u can get the mcmmo rewards out of that block

    Big bug. Basically I have pvp disabled in the server.properties.

    This is my permission setup.

    And with this setup, with the latest mcMMO 0.5.15 and 325 craftbukkit.

    Anyone can use the unarmed skill, even though I don't have it in the permissions.

    Once someone gets unarmed to skill 50 than they can kill anyone. Even though PvP is off.

    They can also just level their unarmed skill by sitting there and hitting someone over and over with unarmed.

    Due to this anyone can kill anyone even though pvp is off and even though unarmed is not anywhere near their permissions...

    Please fix this right away, having to disable this plugin until its working.

    @smbh I just tried to replicate the error and I couldn't. Could you elaborate in more detail how you produce this error?

    Love the plugin. Nossr do you think there's a way to make the pvp skills respect zones? such as towny and worldguard? Cause its a bit of a problem on my server right now.

    @Vittek When WorldGuard 4.x comes out I will have mcMMO not allow you to gain skill or exploit in zones. I don't know about towny but I could look into it. Its a bit annoying having everyone report this stuff as a 'bug' when its just incompatibility :3

    EDIT: Oh you meant the pvp zones? I'll try.

    Correct. The fact that damage caused by the weapon skills overrides the no PvP zones, letting people kill each other no matter where.

    @Jamie - no worries, sorry if I came off harshly.

    @nossr50 - I've been unable to replicate the error myself. It was not a breaker anyway, the commands did not work and no skills were gained. Was fixed by a server restart. Has not happened since.

    BUG REPORT: When you do /reload the plugin breaks and sends an error. AFter this the plugin doesnt work

    what i mean is after i do the /reload command from another plugin which reloads all the configs and plugins, this one gives an error the error is:

    That error is because mcMMO's mcmmo.users file is not being loaded correctly. There probably isn't much I can do to fix such a thing unfortunately. I have no idea how this other plugin is disabling/enabling mcMMO. If the plugin has its source code available I could look and see if there's anything I could do to make mcMMO more compatible, but if it does not there is very little I could do.

    I don't know if it's log to do but is it possible to change the command /stats to something like /mcstats or /mmostats ?
    It's just to avoid conflict with other plugins already using /stats

    Will it be possible to decrease xp gain for gathering skills ? ( I want to avoid user to "grief" the map by removing all dirt )

    I would like to decrease the level gains for skills also. What is the highest level? I just installed mod and within an hour already over 70 skill in woodcutting. If the cap is 100 that seems awefully fast.

    I love this plugin but i just realized something after using it for 24hrs. It is destroying my world.

    I have an RP server. The MC MMO plugin is great. BUT.

    It destroys ALL other RP i try to setup - as in Quests with loot tables, etc. Why and how?

    Because MC MMO has an unconfigurable loot table that "destroys" economies and pre-set RP worlds where questing for certain things exist. Nether is a quest/raid zone on our server. The materials sell for 15,000 to 50,000 in the Store. However, now it seems a person can get Glow Stone (Nether material) simply by digging.

    This mean that my entire server RP storyline regarding Nether materials etc, is dead. Glow stone has had to be removed from the store, its "specialness" on my server as a special item achievable from hell is ended because of MC MMO.

    I do not understand if this plugin is meant to just "dominate" a server in all ways shape or form or what because right now, if a server GM can't control the Loot Drops from excavating, etc - then their world becomes an MC MMO vision of the plugin creator - not the world owner / host.


    Please add a configurable LOOT TABLE/DROP for ALL aspects of MC MMO or else it cannot be used by many who have set RP worlds where some items just are not meant to ever be gotten on earth - I.e. Glow Stone drops from digging in dirt/grass....... that doesn't even make sense. It totally reshapes a persons world and their vision for the world.

    I love the mod. Do not love how it completely changes the RP i have spent a very long creating, and writing out for my world. It does not make sense to make this Mod so that it modifies everyones world to one standard that the mod creator envisions, because if that is the case, then I would rather remove it now, than continue to have to remove and re-price items in my shop that are QUEST items which seem to now just appear when digging.

    Just now, someone got a gold record for digging in sand: In our store, thats a 15,000 gold coin drop, as well as a quest item that has other uses. Digging it up in sand was never part of the storyline, finding Glow Stone in dirty also was never part of my server RP storyline, which is constantly eroding now because of an unconfigurable loot table.

    Sorry to sound bitchy, I really do appreciate your hard labor and effort. And I honestly think that you did not mean to create a "server dominating" plugin that disrupted on going RP. The mod is awesome. I love it what it offers my world residents.

    I just wish for a configurable loot/drop table so it can better integrate with not only my RP stories, but any server that has stories and quests, which revolve around loot drops etc.

    We also use iMonster, and have this configured to drop special quest and rare loot items - just not hell/nether materials.

    Can you please give us a configurable loot drop table?

    bah, someone on my server just told another that they got a gold record from digging in sand. So he literally went just now to dig in dirt and got a gold record in less than 1 minute.

    So now that rare item is friggin useless - 2 drops in hours time 10-12 people In World busy doing things. That is a bit much when it is a quest item and has a 15,000 gold coin value.

    I am really wondering how much of my quest stories have to be re-written with diff items that have no freaking value in MC now because all the items of rarity are being dropped willy-nilly, unconfigurable in the world.

    I am sorry but this is freaking aggravating to work 2 weeks writing stories, matching quests to objects and loot, and then install a mod that makes all my epic and quest loot near common drops, thus tanking my economy and requiring a restructuring and re-writing of a lot of work.

    And no, pulling it out isn't exactly an option now, since everyone has been investing heavily in increasing skills. It would not be fair to my residents.

    However, i am really really upset, that all my work is crashing because of a crappy loot table that should not be locked when everyones worlds are different and need configurable customization.

    I really dont understand how this is put out with out any way to govern the economic impact on your server, its story line, quests etc.

    Why the heck is Glowstone rewarded for digging when its only found in the Nether?

    I am logging out of my own world right now because i am so pissed and don't know how to tell everyone that I am thinking of pulling the mod because it is destroying my vision and RP storylines and quests.

    MC MMO doesnt even have a storyline of its own so therefore it really shouldnt be putting things in the world that the server admin doesnt wish there - specifically certain loot drops.

    Please fix this with an editable loot table like iMonster does. Pretty simple.

    @SweetCraft Girl if you remove the excavation skill, it should help alot, as that is the only skill that gets you extra random items.

    250+ = 1/100 chance to get an apple

    50+ = 5/100 chance to get glowstone
    500+ = 1/500 chance to get a diamond

    Grass & Dirt
    25+ = 3/10 chance to get glowstone

    75+ = 3/10 chance to get sulphur
    125+ = 1/100 chance to get coal
    175+ = 4/10 chance to get a bone

    Dirt, Grass, Sand & Gravel
    150+ = 1/1000 chance to get music disk 1
    250+ = 1/1000 chance to get music disk 2
    350+ = 1/500 chance to get diamond
    750+ = 1/2000 chance to get cake

    The plugin isn't here to be crafted to fit your vision and RP storyline. It's not crappy because the author made it the way he wanted to.

    @SweetCraft Girl Well, I read both your posts. I understand how this plugin could be having an effect on your economy mods etc. While I understand that you wish to run the server your own way, you must also understand that I am developing this plugin my own way. All I can suggest is you disable the excavation skill or remove your economy plugin. I do not run an economy plugin on my server, I do not plan to tailor any of my skills to work well with an economy plugin either. I am trying to make my plugin worth having on a server, but I am not going to bend over backwards and make my plugin compatible with every little thing people want. Maybe music discs are a bit common being a 1 in 2000 chance, I might raise the odds a bit in another update.
