    @diegokilla I suppose I'll make a video going over how to configure the mod. I could use some help on software to use for editing/recording etc. If not I'll just google it.

    well i can tell you that movavi is cheap and effective, but the customer support is... well... they mite as well not have any :p i have heard that sony makes one of the best ones out there, but it is quite pricey

    edit i used movavi before, but for some reason the program now asks me to register it(even though i already have) and after i put in the product key, it says it was successful but doesnt let me into the program...

    I need help, I think i did something wrong with my permissions
    and hers what i did
    1)I renamed the yml to the world i'm using
    2)I added all the nodes
    3)I won't level up after cutting down tree's with my axe for 4 minutes

    Ya I know after doing so and restarting the server
    I wiped out every single tree and still didn't level up

    FFS, This addon has been double items when we die to pvp. Took me all gd night to find the addon doing this. Please fix this major major issue. cb 452 and 455.

    I see it's only compatible with 441 but that is way too far back considering some of the major bugs with teleporting and such. please consider updating the few bugs it has with 455

    This plugin seems to have a fit about Iron Blocks. Not sure exactly what is wrong, but since I put mcMMO on my server, after a while it will just kinda....forget about anvils and clay and pretty much everything except XP gaining. Unfortunately, this messes with the Controllerblock plugin...So far the console hasn't reported anything that I was able to locate so I can't give you an error, but it occurs after some time without rhyme or reason and seems to be related to a conflict with me using iron block as a controller block as well....sorry I can't provide more info at this time but the issue never occurs when mcMMO isn't in.

    *Edit: If you just gave me the ability in the Config to change the type of block used for anvil, I could set it and be on my way probably.

    Ever considered multiworld support? I was thinking having a build world and then another world that was PURE pvp/pvm for this kind of thing. This would be amazing to have I think but not if it end up effecting the build world too.

    Hey guys people were saying that if you use the stats plugin you could change the command for this in the mcmmo.properties files which i did but whenever i start my server it restes the file back to default there i cant change anything.

    I do apologise to people for not reading all 28 pages, but theres a lot of comments (a good thing of course), I just wanted to add a comment myself.

    I like this idea very much as it makes the long term minecraft'ing less tedious, as it makes everything "faster" for the player as he levels up.

    As a possible way to re-instate further challange to the game, rather then just add more game-wide difficulty settings, how about increasing the difficulty (health, damage, etc of mobs and things) based on how far away from the spawn (0,0 location) the player is?

    If someone could create a terrain generator that actually made the richness of materials on chunks better and better further away from spawn, to force players outwards - but also more challenging to survive out "there", it would be a cool survival mode addition, and more RPG like.

    I love this mod but wish there was a crafter skill that made it so the more blocks you have placed (maybe xp increase or decrease depending on the rarity of said blocks) the higher the durability and the harder it is for other players to destroy it all the way up to unbreakable level so that instead of protecting every single house anybody crafts they can protect it themselves based on skill. I would also love to see an armor skill that not only restricted what type of armor you can wear until a certain skill level is reached but could also increase the durability of the armor.

    WorldGuard and this plugin seem to hate one another on my server. I get one to work and it causes the other not to work. Then I fix the first one and the second stops working again. Is this a common issue? Is it something small I am probably missing?

    I use them both with mcmmo (skills is kinda buggy tho)

    Edit: I just removed levelcraft because it doesn't work well with mcmmo, ie if you don't have high enough level to use a tool, you can't break a block but mcmmo will still give you drops.

    i Request some features.

    For example - skill levels VALUES shifting.

    I mean, on my rp i want the players to actually "work" on their professions.
    Apprentice miner must not dig 1:1 Coal. He must have very little chance of getting it, 25% for example.
    There is already abundance of resources in game, there are so much, players are not interested in gathering them at 2n hour
    of gameplay. They are just stacked in chests.

    That coal for example, is barely used just in two ways - torches and smelting/cooking.
    We must scale this, for balance, coal and other resources must be much more rare, so they
    relative cost will be much bigger.
    Its one of the vanilla problems, that i think you can solve.
    And for addition - more/changed recipes will help that too, just make coal(again, for example)
    used in more recipes. Weapons/armor must be smithed using coal, because irl smith firstly heats them.
    And all that. Wood is abundant too.
    Cobble stone is some "self created" (i dunno word to describe it), irl no one can make a stone wall in 1:1
    proportion to base resource, without any work. This must be recipe.

    I dont really believe that wold be implemented, i don't know nossr50's plans, but thats what i think is right.

    And one more thing.
    I run rp, i am thinking of very deep embedding of mcmmo, and the first
    thing i want to see as admin is Professions.

    I think the sempliest, the very very simple way do this, is letting players to choose
    from the list of professions, that are just predefined templates of skill levels, and possible
    xp rates and cap. Of course all that must be configurable.

    @Taurondir Harder monsters is planned, it probably won't be making it into 0.9 but it is a high priority for the mod.

    @morikubo I think changing the minecraft generation is a bit beyond the scope of what I want to do with mcMMO. Professions don't sound like a bad idea, but I just don't see how I'd implement them well. Right now you can use permissions to setup classes and such which is similar to what you want. I really want to add a Smithing skill actually, and it may see its way into mcMMO eventually.

    @Nigel It shouldn't be turning back to default unless you changed the property name. Try /mcmmo=kittens and it should make the /mcmmo command /kittens.

    @Daveyo Thats not happening on my server, but I'll look into it. I'm not going to update mcMMO to follow a newer version of CraftBukkit until there is a new recommended build (The ones with green stars).

    Actually it was not about generation but about drop rates.
    You dig 4 coal blocks but get just 1 coal, because of lack of skill.
    Now game feels like GODS IN CREATED SPECIALLY FOR THEM WORLD, not OMG I NEED TO SURVIVE.

    Maybe you can add more parameters to config, for rates, and other stuff,
    so admins can decide what they need.

    Sheesh, I had no idea Nijikokun stopped supporting 2.1 of permissions. I'll update my mod soon to use the new one by Yeti.

    Not too keen on the new regeneration system implemented into mcMMO since I use SlowHealth.
    I'm able to disable it by not including 'mcmmo.regeneration' in permissions, right?

    I thought i give this one another try (got sick of the stackdumpspam and removed it)
    But it's still the same;

    (about every second a few)

    With 1.2_1 this plugin worked fine but i'm not able to run it with 1.3 without megabytes of stacks in my logs.

    It seems you are using 440, I apologize.

    I don't know why that is happening for you, but I shall investigate my code and find out.

    EDIT: Looks like I might have to put some null checks into the block listener, let me quickly compile mcMMO and post the new one.

    • Added null checks to prevent NPE with My Spawn and OnBlockDamage
    • Swords now correctly check for permissions with the bleed effect

    If you still get NPE errors try mcMMO by itself to see if its possibly a conflict with another plugin.

    Good mod a friend told me about however i really dislike the health regen as it makes food unneeded and i know you can use the permissions to block it but my problem is as the admin unless i want to manually add the permissions i have it regardless, so i am asking if you could possibly create a toggle for it in the configuration file?

    Hi, I just wan't to start of by saying I love your mod. Me and my friends have had a blast with it on my server. But i have one suggestion/request. I was looking threw the Bukkit plugin list and I saw a plugin to change color names then it hit me. Could you passably make it so the color of you name changes when you powerlevel gets higher that would be awesome I think. If not no problem still love your mod just thought it was a great idea.
