renaming an item

    I have been trying to do this for the past hour (at least). I tried 2 APIs that I found on the forums (ItemNamer, NamedItemStack) but nether worked.

    I need to give a player a named Item stack and then also be able to get the name of that itemstack later on.

    Can anyone help me with this?

    PrettyScaryLib is what I use. It has some other features like coloring armor and giving items lore.
